Kids 18 and under can get their Back to School haircut for free by reading while in the barber's chair! The event is on Wednesday, August 2nd, at the First Class College of Cosmetology: 306 State Street in downtown Beloit. The Beloit Public Library will provide the books! Drop in anytime between 3:00 and 6:00 p.m.!

Through demonstrations and activities, learn the importance of groundwater and the simple changes you can make in everyday habits to insure clean drinking water. Discover other ideas to protect our planet and learn how "green spaces" can improve schools and neighborhoods.
An introduction to construction. Learn about types of buildings, construction tools and safety gear. Then follow directions to construct a building out of Legos. Kids will receive a construction hat and a participation certificate.

Learn how famed Wisconsin architect Frank Lloyd Wright took his inspiration from nature to create his buildings. Kids will build a better world by designing and constructing a small neighborhood using recycled materials.
